Mission Impact
- Adult Day Program launched January 6 with 6 residents. Received 5–6 interest calls since posting on socials.
- Day Program Director: Fanella Hunter hired.
Financial Overview
- 2026 Budget to be approved in February.
- Aldridge to do a Compilation for 2025 instead of full audit.
- Donor statements to be distributed before January 31, 2026.
- In-kind donations: close to $4,000 this month alone.
- 2026 Grant cycle starting soon — list to be updated.
Outreach
- Susan and Jordan appeared on Day to Day with Mariah show on WHNT.
- Jordan is now an ambassador for the Huntsville Chamber.
- Erica, Ashley, and Danielle accepted as “Movers and Shakers” for the Huntsville Chamber.
- Susan attended Mitzvah Day of Sharing — several faith communities beginning volunteer services with Eighth Street.
Operations & Events
- Valentine’s on Eighth — Friday, February 6th, 5–7 PM. Food trucks, Disney/Marvel characters, petting zoo (with kangaroo!), karaoke, inflatables. Open to the public.
- Love Grows Here — Thursday, April 30th, 5:30–8 PM. Raffle donations and table sponsorships needed.
- All residents completed dental visits through the Free Dental Clinic in HSV.
Residents
- One resident now permanent. One moving to Hank’s House with Tony.
- Two male and one female opening. One male approved for visits/trials.
- One male resident departed due to unruly behaviors.
