- 2Day Program Definition & Actionable ItemsTarget opening: September 2 (after Labor Day). Lease to be drafted by Livin’ Room. Staff hiring by August 1. Two dry runs in mid-August with residents. Cost: $60/full day, $40/half day. Extended day options: +$15 for breakfast drop-off or dinner pickup. Adverse weather: follow Huntsville City Schools.
- 3Internship Program DevelopmentDavid and Susan to collaborate on job descriptions, digital/print promotional materials, and application process.
- 4Respite ProgramProgram parameters largely defined. Promotional materials (web and print) to be developed.

Mission Impact
- David, Chris, and Susan met with the Launched Living board at City Hall to discuss interest in the “Bailey Cove Property.”
- Susan spoke about “Bridge to 100” at the Love Grows Here event — many questions from the audience.
Financial Overview
- Working with Carol Shreve on the audit. Jordan Gibbs consulting and has been a tremendous help.
Operations & HR
- Male resident applicant previously denied by Finance Committee can now afford full cost of care through grandmother’s funds.
- Female applicant trial period extended due to medication adjustment — behavior stabilized.
- Ashley Guyton offered Program Supervisor role — begins May 20, 2025.
- Michelle Bierma offered 10-hour/week Accounting role — begins June 2, 2025.
- Susan and Jordan attended Navigate seminars: Collaboration, Capital Campaigns, Grant Writing with AI, Staff Retention, Media Marketing, Meta for a Mission, and others.
- Navy “Steel Beach Picnic” on April 23rd — described as the best on-site activity witnessed.
- Trash Pandas NPO launched April 22. Five games represented. Miracle League and Special Olympics in full force.
Fundraising
- Love Grows Here raised $52,850 total — $39,403 net directed to resident care.
- Christmas in July planning underway for residents.
- Whiskey & Wine date set and venue secured.
